UV mapping

 
 


This week i have also been working in uv mapping some toys

 The rocket was a little bit uv unfriendly with the object being one mesh when there are parts that are reapeted.
Therefore i split the mesh up so only one object needds to be uv mapped and then the map can be transfered/duplicated how ever many times. can save a great deal of time.

The robot took a while to uv map as there were parts of the mesh that were interpenetrating each other although you will not be able to see it, it does take time to map also the typology from the top of the model ran down to bottom creating unnesseray small faces and if you have to go in to select them it takes longer than it should.
